Welcome to the Tahoe Guide, an interactive tool found only at tahoe.com! 1. You may search Tahoe locations by interest category or by geographic location. Use the “By Interest” menu on the right side of the map to find locations, grouped by the categories listed. 2. To find locations in a specific area of Lake Tahoe, click on one of the directions listed above the map. This will zoom the map into that area of the lake. You may also select a region of the lake from the dropdown menu, or select a landmark. 3. To populate the map with locations, select the interest category you want to explore. In the category menu, select the specific types of that interest category that you want to find. Click the “search” link in that menu to make the locations within that category show up on the map. The locations are listed in alphabetical order. Clicking on the location name will take you to that location’s icon on the map. 4. Click on the icons that populate the map to learn more about each location. From the map icon, you can navigate to a detailed information page about each location. |
